Our Bed & Breakfast Uxondoa
Welcome to Uxondoa, (pronounce it ouchondoa). My family and I would be delighted to welcome you in our big family home overlooking the Nivelle river. Our 6,5 Ha property is located in Saint Pée sur Nivelle, a peaceful village on the french basque coast, near Saint Jean de Luz and Biarritz.
Our lovely B&B home Uxondoa, is ideally situated in Aquitaine, nestled in the beautiful countryside, and you will be able to take full advantage of the sea and the mountains. It will only take you 15 mn to be on the beaches of St Jean de Luz and 25 mn to reach the beaches of Biarritz or Hendaye. Walks in the countryside begin right on our doorstep . Do you like fishing or/and canoeing? Then Uxondoa bed and Breakfast rooms are the place to stay! You'll be able to fish trout, salmon, roach, and gudgeon and try canoeing on the river La Nivelle, which flows in front of our holiday rentals, and finishes in the bay of St Jean de Luz.
B&B rooms Uxondoa have been in place since 1994, and our guest house is probably one of the oldest in the Basque Country. The house has been completely rebuilt preserving the aesthetics of old basque farmhouses and using quality materials recuperated from the original building. In our lovely guesthouse, you will find wooden beams in all rooms, exposed stones, lime walls, and terra cotta floors, which create a warm rustic atmosphere with complete comfort and modern facilities to ensure that your stay in Uxondoa B&B is both pleasurable and memorable. And all this is amid lawns strewn with hydrangeas, azaleas and camellia.
